Mikroscope adapters are accessory parts to fix a camera body to the eyepiece barrel of a microscope. The microscope will provide the optics, the adapters themselves are simply mechanical connection parts, without optical elements.

Microscope Adapter

The Microscope Adapter is for use with the early Konica bodies with internal linkF bayonet lens mount. I've got no further informations about this adapter.

Microscope Adapter 2 AR

The Microscope Adapter 2 AR is for the connection of a newer camera body with internal linkAR bayonet to the eyepiece barrel of a microscope.

The adapter consists of two parts; an upper tube with a bayonet on the camera side, which is connected to the camera body just like a lens. The lower part consists of a lock barrel for connection to the upper part and a clamp, which is fastened to the eyepiece barrel of the microscope with a screw. Both parts can be turned freely against each other for easy orientation of the camera and they can be fixed towards each other by the lock barrel in any position.

The photographs can be taken with or without the eyepiece lens of the microscope.

As it is designed for a very special application, the Microscope Adapter 2 AR is a rare accessory and not easy to find nowadays.

The multi-lingual internal linkuser's manual for Microscope Adapter 2 AR can be downloaded from the accessory manuals page.
